Yoga and Meditation have been a part of my life for the past 16 years. I am very connected with my cultural roots and strived to look for a yoga studio that honored what I was bringing with me…my authentic self. In 2015, I started taking some private yoga classes as I had some recent injuries and wanted to a better understanding of yoga poses and learn modifications. For many years, I also practiced at home on my own andnever attended a class due to my anxiety. This experience helped me to bebecome more aware of what I had verses what I had lost, as well as, helped me to better manage my anxiety and I started take classes.

As a result of this experience, I decided I wanted to learn more and find my true purpose in life. I decided to pursue my200 Yoga Teacher Training. This experience helped me to deepen my Mind-Body-Spirit connection and find positive ways to cope with some personal andmedical challenges. I completed my 200 Yoga Teacher Training in December 2019and registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200RYT. I have worked with various students with different skill levels and fromdifferent walks of life. I also enjoy teaching students about meditation andits benefits, as well as, exploring themed classes with chakras and affirmations.I am currently working on my 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training and Applied Yoga certificates.

I love sharing what I learn with others and sharing the true meaning of yoga: the Sanskrit root “Yuj” meaning “to join” or “to unite” Yoga is  journey to the self while unifying the mind, body, and spirit. I offer a very authentic practice to my students and I look forward to sharing my story and knowledge with you. I believe anyone can benefit from yoga with the right support and guidance. Love and Light –Namaste!
